The 2 process hair oil ie the prep oil and growth oil is extremely beneficial. I got this for my daughter who was having hair fall and oil really helped to control the hairfall issue.

It's working Great, I had a lot of hairfall and dandruff issues. But after a month of use, I can observe the improvement in my hair.

Excellent Products

I had severe hair fall and hair thinning. I came across Dr. Nambi and Ayushoveda's two oil hair routine.I am providing this review after using all the products for 6 months. Hair oils are amazing

Providing this review post using these oils for a little over 6 months now. I have coloured hair and obviously due to colouring my hair has damages. I started using the hair oils post a brief consultation with the doctor. Have tried to be consistent in applying 3 times a week or atleast 2 times a week. The hair fall has significantly reduced and my hair texture has improved a lot as well. Highly recommend the products if any one is dealing with hair issues. Sure to have a good experience!

I had severe hairfall and hair thinning because of postpartum hairfall. I was at my wit ends having tried different things to help my hair grow. I came across ayushoveda 2 scalp oils and thought of giving it a shot given that it is completely ayurvedic and formulated by Dr.Nambi himself. After first 2 washes my hairfall reduced a lot. Eventually using the hair oil and shampoo I saw new hair growth as well. The schedule given by them for oiling has been helpful to be consistent in it. I vouch for this product and strongly recommend this to everybody I come across who complaints about their hair. Be consistent for 3 months and you will see your hair change for the best.

It barely takes 5 minutes to apply and won't disturb your daily routine. The process is the same for both the oils.

You apply the oils 3 times per week. Warm slightly and apply directly to scalp - and massage with your fingers for about 2 minutes.


You can then go about your regular chores - and wash off after about 45 minutes (or a muhurta)

You should apply the two-oils 3 times a week for the first six weeks.

First, start with the Scalp Prep Oil - apply 3 times in the first week. This will cleanse your scalp of buildup, dandruff etc. The buildup removal ensures the dosha balancing and nourishment from the Hair Growth Oil will be better absorbed.

Then shift over to the Hair Growth Oil - which you also apply 3 times a week.

Occasionally use the Scalp Prep Oil, so as to keep the scalp clean and buildup-free. And then continue again with the Hair Growth Oil.

Dr Nambi has advanced education (MD in Ayurveda) in Dravyaguna, the science of Ayurvedic pharmacology - which is in deeply understanding herb combinations. As a professor and HOD in two Ayurvedic colleges, he also taught the Dravyaguna subject.

Shampooing normally strips essential oils and unbalances the scalp. Our Gentle Natural Shampoo is mild and designed to lessen such imbalances. Plus the Hair Nourishing Elixir can quickly rebalance the scalp and provide all day nourishment.

However, if you don't shampoo regularly, you do not need the shampoo or elixir - the two oils are enough. You can use this guide with 2 simple questions to help decide which kit is best for you.

Dosha imbalances cause unhealthy scalp wherein hair follicles become dormant or weak due to lack of nutrition. These weak or dormant hair roots can either die (causing baldness) or be revived through proper nutrition.

The dosha balancing, two-oils provide nutrition to revive dormant or weak follicles and you will be able to experience hair growth in areas where follicles have gone dormant.

However areas where the hair has not been growing for a long time means the roots are likely dead and it is impossible to revive them.

Why clean & prep scalp?

Today's scalp is not as healthy as in the past – such as when your grandma was using it. Dandruff, pollution, harsh water, chemical products, temperature fluctuations due to AC, dandruff etc creates unhealthy buildup on your scalp. This buildup is a barrier that prevents nourishment from reaching your hair roots.

Take farming as an example. A good farmer always prepares the field by tilling etc before planting the crops. This enables nutrition to reach the plant roots. But if the soil itself is unhealthy it doesn’t matter what you do, the plants will remain unhealthy. 

This is why just providing nutrition to the hair roots is not enough - one has to make sure the nutrition can reach the roots AND be absorbed. This is the optimal way to get to healthy, shiny hair - and reduce hair fall.

  • 80% reported that hair fall has reduced and 48% said reduced a lot.
  • 90% reported that scalp health (dandruff etc) has improved and 65% said improved a lot.
  • 85% reported that hair quality has improved and 50% said improved a lot.
  • 92% reported that the process (3x weekly and 45 minutes) was convenient and 50% said very convenient.
  • 26% even reported seeing new hair shoots growing - this is very good to hear! For most people new hair starts to show from 3-4 months.
